Somehow this reminds me of Total Annihilation Kingdoms: with the deity/leader missing and its 'children' going against each other on their own paths
This concept translated to My Little Pony is just amazing!

Quick question, why does Moon & Star not have a house overview sheet like the other six?

The Diamond Den
"The Pack Is Stronger Than Diamonds"

With the Ponies of Equestria divided and feuding among themselves, many of the Diamond Dog Packs have decided that the time was ripe to unite and rebuild The Diamond Dog Empire of old. So now they march under the banner of Grand Alpha Spot and gather their forces in the legendary Diamond Den, hidden deep with in the Appleloosan Mountains. This city was once the center of the massive Diamond Empire that ruled the land long before the Ponies conquered it and according to myth the Den was so filled with wealth that even Mistress Rarity would turn green with envy at the sight of it's poorest slums. Yet for countless years the Diamond Den laid empty, its walls laid bare of the gemstones and pressure metals that the Diamond Dogs had so carefully gathered and its halls where empty and dark. But now the flames of war have relight those same halls as Diamond Dogs pore back into their forgotten Den, all with the promise of King Spot that they will regain their lost land and wealth and take vengeance upon the Pony scum who stole it from them.

Important Facts About the House
-Founded by Grand Alpha Spot during the early years of the civil war, it started out with only a hand full of packs but it's numbers quickly swell into the tens of thousands as Diamond Dogs from all over Equestria realized that this was their best chance of regaining their old Empire.
-While only having one major settlement, the Diamond Dogs have a massive network of tunnels and mines that allows them to attack any part of Equestria.
-It's military consist of Diamond Dogs, trained Giant Spiders, and even the occasional Dragon bribed with gems.
-Not all Diamond Dog packs consider Spot to be their king and a few have even agreed to work with his arch enemy Mistress Rarity.
-While all ponies are considered the enemy, King Spot's greatest hatred is directed at Mistress Rarity and any Diamond Dog mercenary who is found serving her will be torturer and killed without trial.

Important Members
-Grand Alpha Spot- The founder and leader of the Den and seen as the rightful heir to the Diamond Dog Empire by his followers. His hatred for ponies knows no bounds and dreams of the day he will feast upon the flesh of Mistress Rarity. He is a good if reckless tactician, an excellent fighter despite his small size, and is as stubborn as any Earth Pony.

-Beta Rover- Head of Craftsdog Guild, he serves as Spot's second in command and is in charge of the city when the Alpha is leading solders in the field. He is also responsible of making sure the army is properly equipped and ready for war.

-Beta Fido- Known as the Hell Hound by his enemies, Fido is the Empire's greatest general and solder. He bares many scares from his battles, and leaves a trail of blood where ever he marches. His raids and attacks have become the stuff of legends and often his mere prescience on the battle field is enough to scare enemies into retreating.

-Princess Lucy- Heir to her father's throne and as fanatical as he is, Princess Lucy has only recently taken on an active role in the game of war and politics, but she is proving her skill already. In her first feat as Heir she had a War Pack join Whitegold's army as mercenaries, only to betray them during a rather important battle over a gold mine costing the enemy an important resource and driving a wedge of mistrust between the Whitegold's commanders and their remaining Diamond Dog solders.

Important Facts About Grand Alpha Spot-
-Has a slight Napoleon complex because of his size.
-Considered an architectural genius and has designed many of the tunnel expansions through out Equestria himself, as well as the rebuilding of the Diamond Den.
-Favorite food is Unicorn horn.
-Has trouble with the Pony Language which often leads Ponies to thinking he is dumber than he really is.
-Is attempting to establish diplomatic ties with the Changeling Hives.

Forces of The Diamond Den

Pack Warriors: These lightly armored warriors are not official members of the Diamond Den army, instead they are raised by the various packs through out Equestria to raid nearby pony settlements for slaves, meat, and of course diamonds. Their main weapon is a spear often tipped with paralyzing spider venom, making it easier to drag their prey done into their tunnels. Their massive size and strength adds even more terror to victims when they come bursting out from the grown.

War Pack: These steel clad solders form the bulk of the Den's army. They are well trained, disciplined and armed with a diamond mace and shield, add this to the Diamond Dog's natural ferocity and brutality and it makes them a match for nearly anything the Equestian Houses can throw at them.

Crossbow Pack: Since Diamond Dogs live under ground, aerial warfare has been as easy for them to adapt too as Pegasus trying to adapt to cave warfare. They never had any reason to be concern with it in the past for they could always hide in their caves and tunnels when attacked from above. Yet now with the goal of clearing the Diamond Empire of all ponies, `the Den is forced to change it's ways. So they invented the crossbow, a light weight, monovable missile weapon that works well in tunnels, is more reliable than black powder weapons, and has enough punch to get through armor. The one down side is the reload time is slower than that of a bow.

Giant Spiders: Diamond Dogs have a long history with the Giant Spiders that live in their tunnels. In peace time they use them as beast of burden, keep them as a food source, use their silk to make cloths and rope, they are often loyal pets. But in wartime the Giant Spider is kept for different reasons, their paralyzing venom is often found on the tip's of Diamond Dogs' blades, their webs make great armor and are excellent for setting traps, and they can be trained to attack enemies on command. Nearly every War Pack keeps a dozen or more of these creatures who will come pouring up from the ground under the orders of their masters.

The Diamond Sentries: The Diamond Sentries are the elite solders of the Diamond Den and act as body guards for the Grand Alpha as well as shock troops on the battle field. They get their name from the plate armor they wear which is carved from diamonds and hold together by spider webs, giving them the strongest body armor in Equestia. Because of this incredible armor Diamond Sentries will often just toss themselves into enemy ranks crush anything they land on before drawing their claymores.

Berserker Hounds: These Diamond Dogs are selected from the largest and strongest of their kind and lead by The Hell Hound himself. There refuse to wear any armor for it is seen as a sign of weakness, and the only weapon they carry are devastating spiked clubs. They special potions that send them into their berserker rage, during which they feel no pain and will keep fighting even after being mortally wounded. They are the most feared of all Diamond Dog solders and even the most seasoned solder fears their coming.

Mine Cart Rockets: These custom made mine carts are used for two purposes, destroy the reinforced cement blocks that the ponies had started using to prevent Diamond Dogs from raiding settlements by tunneling beneath them and to fight off Pegasus and other air born attackers. Rocket Mine Carts where made by reversed engineering the Rocket Launchers used by House Earthborn and despite their rather unpredictable nature they have proven to be very useful in the Diamond Den's war.

Repeating Scorpions: These giant crossbows are an upgraded version of the ancient weapon used by the original Diamond Dog Empire. It is powerful enough to puncture any armor and it's firing speed makes it a great anti-infantry and an anti-air weapon.

Dragon Mercenaries: Seen only twice on the battle field, but still enough to confirm that the Diamond Den does have ties with the Dragon population and are able to buy their services with vast amounts of jewels. Do to the high price the Dragons demand the Diamond Den could only afford to pay for one at a time, yet both times they had been willing to hand over their beloved jewels the results had spectacular. Fire had rain down upon their enemies, only to be followed by a storm of claws and teeth, as the dragon's laid waste to all who got in their way.
